Hello and Happy Holidays!!
The Wine Lover, if you don't already know, has undergone a transformation of epic proportions. Firstly, there is new ownership. My brother Nick and Myself have procured this little gem in what will be the first of many little gems, I hope?.. Secondly, We have have become wine merchants as well. The Wine Lover has dropped a little coin in the retail aspect of the business. We had weeks of tasting and tasting and tasting, to find the right wines that go with our philosophy of really good, hand-crafted wines that don't cost a mortgage. I must tell you, THERE IS SOME DAMN FINE WINE OUT THERE IN WINEWORLD!! I was so pleased to find so many different varietals, styles and places where wine is made.
We had a budget and, of course, didn't stick to it. A proverbial "kid in the candy store", but we had to load up the shelves. My goal was to was to fill about 24 cubbies that hold over a case apiece and fill 3 shelves with kinda higher end wines, Chardonnay and Pinot, and Old world delights (Barolo, Burgundy, Rhones....Etc.). That's a lot of wine!! But after hard work and due diligence, we got ' er done. The Wine Lover is now a full-fledged bottle shop and so happy that people now have somewhere to go for all the needs that arise
